Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a Loader Operator to run frontline heavy equipment and keep our plants moving. You’ll load, unload, and move materials to ensure a steady supply for production while staying mindful of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience operating loaders or large equipment preferred; training provided.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Safety-focused and able to speak up if issues.
• Willing to complete pre-employment screenings.
• Physically capable of working in all kinds of weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors.
• Collaborate with crew to keep production on schedule.
• Inspect equipment before and after shifts and report repairs.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE.
• Keep work area tidy and organized.
• Assist with inventory counts to prevent stockouts.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to improve processes.
• Be ready to help teammates or take on extra tasks.
