SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) seeks a Loader Operator to run large loaders and support plant operations in a fast-paced environment. You will move materials, load trucks, and work closely with a team to keep the plant running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience with loaders or large machinery is preferred, but training is provided.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Safety-focused with ability to follow procedures.
• Able to inspect equipment and perform basic fixes.
• Team player with good communication and reliability.
• Capable of working in all weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent helpful but not required.
• Willing to complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement, ensuring smooth plant operation.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors to keep materials available.
• Collaborate with crew and production teams to maintain schedule.
• Inspect equipment before and after shifts and report needs to fix safety first.
• Follow safety rules, wear PPE, and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Keep work area tidy and organized to support safety.
• Assist in inventory counting and prevent material shortages.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to improve processes.
• Be ready to help teammates or take on additional tasks as needed.
