CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc. (CCC) is seeking an AI Engineer to build and ship LLM-powered features and agentic workflows for our insurance ecosystem. You will own features end to end, ensure privacy and security by design, and ship durable, observable services in production.

You’ll design evals and guardrails, work with Python and TypeScript, and collaborate with PMs and data scientists to impact real customer outcomes. This role requires strong coding discipline and on-call readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least one LLM-powered feature shipped and operated in production.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript with strong testing and async patterns.
• Experience designing evals and guardrails for LLM outputs.
• Experience blending LLMs with semantic search and classic NLP.
• Knowledge of relational, document, and graph databases.

Responsibilities

• Ship LLM-powered features and agentic workflows end-to-end.
• Write evals, guardrails, and feedback loops for trustworthy outputs.
• Review generated code for correctness, security, and design.
• Maintain NLP pipelines turning unstructured data into structured data.
• Build durable, event-driven services with checkpointed model outputs.
• Trace model calls and steps with citations for auditing.
• Design privacy and tenant isolation into services from the start.
• Create and review technical design documents with the team.
