Job summary

CCC Information Services is looking for a software engineer to build and ship LLM-powered features and agentic workflows for insurance claims. You will own end-to-end functionality from problem framing with product managers to production traffic, emphasizing privacy, security, and measurable accuracy.

You will work with Python and TypeScript, design evals and guardrails, and ensure traceability across model calls and agent steps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Shipped and operated at least one LLM-powered feature in production.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript with typed, tested, async code.
• Experience designing evals and guardrails for LLM outputs.
• Experience blending LLMs with semantic search and NLP pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Ship LLM-powered features and agentic workflows in Python and TypeScript from scoped problem to production traffic.
• Write evals, guardrails, and feedback loops to ensure trustworthy features within latency budgets.
• Review generated code to catch correctness, security, and design issues before PRs.
• Extend NLP pipelines turning unstructured claim data into structured actionable data.
• Build and operate durable, event-driven services with checkpointed model outputs.
