CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc. is seeking an AI Engineer to build and ship LLM-powered features and agentic workflows for customers. You will own features end to end, from design through production, with a focus on security, privacy, and measurable performance.

The role emphasizes building durable, event-driven services, traceability, and rigorous evaluation of model outputs, with on-call rotation and collaboration with product managers and data scientists.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with at least one LLM-powered feature shipped and operated in production.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript with strong typing, testing, and async patterns.
• Experience designing evals and guardrails for LLM outputs, and constraining model context in production.
• Knowledge of structured output, embedding-based retrieval, and integration of LLMs with traditional NLP techniques.

Responsibilities

• Ship LLM-powered features and agentic workflows in Python and TypeScript through production traffic.
• Write evals, guardrails, and feedback loops ensuring trusted model outputs under latency budgets.
• Review generated code produced by agentic coding tools to catch correctness, security, and design issues.
• Maintain NLP pipelines turning unstructured claim data into structured, actionable insights.
• Operate durable, event-driven services with checkpointed model outputs and proper retries.
• Trace model calls and agent steps with source citations and alert integrations.
