CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc. (CCC) is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to own LLM-powered systems and agentic workflows for customers. You will automate routine claims steps, maintain privacy and security by design, and deliver deterministic, scalable architectures with robust tracing for audits.

You will define evals/guardrails, set production signals, and mentor engineers. The role emphasizes code quality, on-call responsibility, and collaboration with product and data science teams to deliver

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience including an LLM-powered system shipped to external customers
• Experience with Python and TypeScript at team conventions, including typing and async patterns
• Experience designing evals/guardrails and production corrections for model/prompting systems
• Ability to constrain an agentic tool's context and verify output in production
• Designs and implements pipelines blending LLMs, semantic search, and classical NLP

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of LLM-powered systems in Python and TypeScript from problem to production.
• Set evals and guardrails strategy, production signals, and how changes are tested against history.
• Improve agentic tooling specifications, hooks, and permission policies with rigorous reviews.
• Design NLP pipelines using semantic search, NLP, or LLM where appropriate.
• Build and operate durable, event-driven, multi-tenant systems with deterministic workflows.
