Job summary

AEG Presents in Nashville is seeking a Touring Coordinator to support the touring department by maintaining office systems, routing tours, and coordinating venue deals. This role involves researching tour opportunities, building budgets, and producing operational reports for the supervisor.

You will liaise with venues, partners and promoters, help with show settlements on the road, and assist with travel planning, while ensuring schedules align with artist availability and production

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (BA/BS preferred) in related area.
• 0-2 years of related work experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Adobe Acrobat.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Detail orientated with commitment to advancing in the music industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to take direction.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and previous experience in building financial models.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintains department services & efficiencies by organizing department operations and procedures; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; processing department supply requests; maintaining department contacts, scheduling meetings, planning and implementing department systems and equipment procurement.
• Build routing of each assigned tour; create realistic production schedules; coordinate venue availability and contracts for approval.
• Review ticket audits to ensure tour is on budget; ensure production needs for stage, lighting, and sound are met.
• Assist with tour research; pull tour histories; compile price comparisons; create presentations and operational reports.
• Liaise with potential partners, sponsors and co-promoters to maintain tour contacts, venue expenses, and deals.
• May assist with show settlements on the road, assist ticketing, and supervise interns; plan travel and routing calls.
• May build financial models for Tour Manager/Director; work with accounting for budgeting and expenses.
