Job summary

Sun Communities, Inc. is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, financial performance, and resident satisfaction at a Sun community.

The role requires 24/7 on-call availability, handling leasing, marketing, and sales of homes, while ensuring compliance with fair housing and safety standards. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing budgets, processing rent and invoices, and coordinating with regional leadership on strategic actions.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred in real estate, hospitality, or business.
• 2+ years property management experience with supervision.
• 6 months sales and leasing experience; valid driver’s license; on-site living may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administrative functions, marketing, leasing and sale of homes; manage budgets and vendor relationships.
• Supervise team performance and ensure compliance with policies and fair housing laws.
• Monitor rent collection, invoices and operating expenses; handle delinquencies and evictions as needed.
• Coordinate resident services and communications to maintain a positive living environment.
• Ensure Sun’s curb appeal standards and safety policies are followed; prepare budgets and CapEx plans.
