Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Director for a hands-on, on-site leadership role at our rustic summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee daily culinary and service operations, manage staff, budgets, and allergen safety to deliver scratch-cooked meals in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certification (Allergens) required before start; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, high computer literacy, budgeting capability, and sharp problem-solving abilities.
• Stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train FOH and kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols and maintain top Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place food orders, control budgets, track daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
