Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Food Service Operations Director for a hands-on leadership role at a rural summer camp. You will oversee all daily culinary and service operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This is an on-site, live-in position with a demanding 6-day/70-hour week during the May–Sept season, requiring strong leadership and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification and Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand for long periods, work in hot/cold kitchen settings, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train FOH and kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee daily culinary and service operations, budgeting, and reporting.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, leadership, and Wolfoods corporate.
• Manage inventory, place food orders, and control budgets.
