Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Director to oversee daily culinary and service operations at a high-volume, on-site summer camp environment. This role requires hands-on leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and allergen safety compliance.

The position is seasonal (May–Sept), full-time exempt, live-on-site at rural camp facilities across the US, with competitive pay, a bonus, free room and board, and travel allowances.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certified; ServSafe Allergens required before start date.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train Front of House (FOH) and kitchen staff.
• Oversee culinary quality, portion control, and scratch cooking execution.
• Strict allergen safety compliance and Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, budgeting, and daily reporting.
• Serve as the liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
