Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Food Service Operations Director to lead and supervise all daily culinary and service operations at a fast-paced, on-site summer camp. You will manage staff, budgeting, and allergen safety in a hands-on leadership role.

This is an on-site, live-in position in a rustic setting, requiring dedication to a demanding 6-day/70-hour work week and high-volume service.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification (Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, budgeting capability, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train FOH and kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee culinary operations, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking.
• Ensure allergen safety and sanitation per Health Department standards.
• Manage inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and Wolfoods corporate office.
