Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Food Service Operations Director for an on-site, live-in leadership role at rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee daily culinary and service operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced environment.

This is a seasonal contract (May–Sept) with 6-day/70-hour weeks, offering competitive pay, bonus potential, and room & board.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified (Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, budgeting ability, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead FOH and kitchen staff scheduling, training, and supervision.
• Oversee culinary operations, menu specs, portion control, and meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Administer inventory, purchasing, budgeting, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen ops, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods office.
