Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rustic, on-site summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage a team, and enforce allergen safety protocols in a high-volume kitchen.

This on-site, live-in position requires readiness to work a demanding minimum 6-day/70-hour week during the May–Sept contract, with room and board provided and a performance bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day parts; ensure timely meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
