Wolfoods seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at on-site rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will supervise all prep and production for a designated day part, manage staff, and ensure strict allergen safety in a fast-paced kitchen.

This on-site, live-in position requires a minimum 6-day/70-hour week during the season, with competitive pay, bonus potential, and full room & board.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required prior to start date.
• Strong leadership, scratch baking, able to navigate iPad, versatile with ingredients, and sharp problem-solving abilities.

Aufgaben

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking and timely meal service.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and maintain top Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
