Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at one of our rural summer camp facilities. You will oversee all prep and production for the designated day part, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

This on-site, live-in position runs May through September, with a 6-day, 70-hour week, competitive seasonal pay, a performance bonus, and room & board.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Willing to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding 6‑day/70‑hour week.

Aufgaben

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Manage operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols and maintain Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
