Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and ensure strict allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

This on-site, live-in position requires readiness to work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week and to contribute to a safe, vibrant camp dining program with budget and inventory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date, company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, cooking, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day part; ensure timely meal service.
• Strict allergen protocols and sanitation standards compliance.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
