Wolfoods Food Services is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp operations. You will oversee prep, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety in a high-volume setting.

This on-site live-in position requires a demanding 6-day/70-hour week schedule and offers full room & board along with competitive weekly pay. Join a dynamic team delivering scratch cooking and exceptional camp dining.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership and cooking skills; able to navigate I-Pad and manage staff.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must live on-site in a rustic setting and commit to 6-day/70-hour weeks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day part.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Admin duties: inventory and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
