Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a live-on-site, seasonal role at rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage a team, and uphold allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

The position is full-time, exempt, from May to Sept, with competitive pay, a bonus structure, and room & board provided during the contract period.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in hot/cold kitchen environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day part and ensure timely meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and sanitation standards.
