Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a fast-paced summer camp. You will oversee daily culinary operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a high-volume environment.

This is an on-site, live-in position across rural summer camp facilities in the United States, offering competitive pay, a performance bonus, and full room & board for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking.
• ServSafe Manager certification; Allergens knowledge required before start date.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and high computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meals.
• Strict allergen protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan) and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place orders, control budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, leadership, and Wolfoods office.
