Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on, on-site leadership role at a rural summer camp. You will oversee daily culinary operations, staff scheduling, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced camp kitchen.

This is a seasonal, on-site position May–Sept requiring living on-site and a minimum 6-day/70-hour workweek. Competitive pay plus bonuses, room & board, and travel allowances are offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified (Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, high computer literacy, budgeting capability, and problem-solving abilities.
• Physical: stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, work in hot/cold kitchen settings.
• Ready to live on-site in a rustic setting and commit to a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee culinary operations, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and health department sanitation standards.
• Administer inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.
