Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Manager for a live-on-site, seasonal contract at rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee all culinary operations, lead staff, manage budgets, and ensure strict allergen safety and sanitation standards.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume role requiring a minimum 6-day/70-hour week. Competitive pay, bonus, and full room & board are provided for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification (Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, high computer literacy, budgeting capability, and sharp problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding minimum 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily culinary operations and lead kitchen staff.
• Manage budgeting, inventory, and daily reporting.
• Ensure allergen safety compliance and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate with campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
• Plan menus and ensure scratch cooking execution.
