Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced, high-energy Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and uphold allergen safety.

This on-site, live-in position requires a 6-day/70-hour work week in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with room for growth and a competitive bonus structure.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, cooking, able to navigate iPad, versatile with ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Operations & Leadership: Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Culinary & Quality Excellence: Manage operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, timely meal service.
• Allergen & Safety Compliance: Strictly manage food allergy protocols and sanitation standards.
• Administration & Budget: Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Client Relations: Serve as a liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
