Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our on-site rural summer camp facilities. You will oversee prep and production for designated day parts, supervise staff, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This is an on-site, live-in seasonal contract (May–Sept) with a six-day work week and 70 hours per week, offering competitive pay plus a performance bonus, room and board, and travel allowances.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, scratch baking, adaptable with ingredients, and sharp problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan) and maintain sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
