Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rustic, on-site summer camp. You will oversee daily culinary operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a high-volume kitchen.

This seasonal contract runs May–Sept with full room and board, competitive pay, a bonus structure, and travel allowance. You must live on-site and work the demanding 6-day/70-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certification and Allergens training completed before start date.
• Strong leadership, budgeting ability, and quick problem-solving under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff to maintain high energy and performance.
• Oversee culinary quality, menu specs, portion control, and scratch cooking.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and health department sanitation standards.
• Administer inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Act as liaison between campers, camp leadership, Wolfoods corporate office.
