Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced, on-site setting.

This seasonal contract runs May–Sept, with full-time, exempt scheduling and a demanding 6-day/70-hour week. On-site housing, competitive pay, bonus opportunities, room & board, and travel assistance are included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Experience with scratch baking and high-volume operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and uphold Health Department sanitation standards.
• Administer inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
