Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a high-volume summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day part, manage staff, and enforce allergen safety protocols in a fast-paced on-site kitchen.

This on-site, live-in position requires a willingness to live at the rustic camp setting and to work a demanding six-day, 70-hour week with room and board provided for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee all prep and production for designated day part; ensure timely meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and Health Department sanitation standards.
• Monitor inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
