Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rustic summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and enforce strict allergen safety protocols to ensure high-quality meals.

This on-site, live-in position requires thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume camp environment and committing to a minimum of 6 days and 70 hours per week during the May–Sept season.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• Certifications: ServSafe Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, cooking, able to navigate iPad, versatile with ingredients, and sharp problem-solving abilities.
• Physical: stand for extended periods, in hot/cold kitchen, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to live on-site in rustic summer camp setting and commit to minimum 6-day/70-hour weeks.

Responsabilités

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day parts; ensure timely meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory, daily reporting, and budget control.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
