Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking a Kitchen Manager for a high-volume, on-site summer camp program across the US. The role is a hands-on leadership position overseeing daily culinary operations, staff, budgeting, and allergen safety.

You will lead kitchen teams, ensure quality scratch cooking, and maintain strict sanitation while living on-site for a six-day, 70-hour week schedule. Competitive seasonal pay, bonus, and room & board are provided.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certified; allergens handling required before start date.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to live on-site and work 6 days/70 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily culinary operations and supervise kitchen staff.
• Lead scheduling, training, and performance feedback.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and budgets.
• Ensure allergen safety and strict sanitation standards.
• Serve as liaison between campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods.
