Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp sites across the US. You will oversee prep, production, staff supervision and allergen safety in a fast-paced kitchen.

This on-site, live-in contract runs May–Sept with 6-day weeks and 70+ hours. We offer competitive pay, a bonus structure and full room and board to support a vibrant camp community.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day parts; ensure menu specs and scratch cooking.
• Strict allergen and safety compliance; maintain top health department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
