Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural, on-site summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day part, manage staff, and ensure strict allergen safety standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This is a seasonal, live-in position (May–Sept) with 6 days/70 hours per week, offering competitive pay, a bonus, and full room & board for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage high-volume kitchen operations.

Responsabilités

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operations flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strict allergen and safety compliance, manage allergy protocols.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
