Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, ensure allergen safety, and maintain sanitation and quality in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

This on-site, live-in position requires a minimum 6-day, 70-hour week, with competitive seasonal pay, a performance bonus, room and board for the contract, and travel allowance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in kitchen leadership with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep, production, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and meal timing.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Handle inventory and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
