Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for on-site leadership at our rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee all prep and production for a day part, manage staff, ensure allergen safety protocols, and uphold scratch-cooking standards in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

This live-in seasonal role runs May–Sept with a demanding 6‑day/70‑hour week. We offer competitive pay, a performance bonus, full room and board, and travel allowances to support

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Proficient with iPad and kitchen software.

Responsibilities

• Operations & Leadership: Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Culinary & Quality Excellence: Operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking execution, and timely meal service.
• Allergen & Safety Compliance: Strictly manage food allergy protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and maintain top Health Department sanitation standards.
• Administration & Budget: Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting
• Client Relations: Serve as a liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
