Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a high-volume, on-site summer camp operation. You will lead kitchen staff, oversee all prep and production for a day part, and ensure strict allergen safety and quality in a fast-paced setting.

This live-in, seasonal role requires a strong leader who can manage inventory, supervise staff, and maintain top sanitation standards across remote camp facilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, scratch baking, iPad use, versatile with ingredients, and sharp problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day part; ensure timely meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and health department sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
