Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead the day-to-day operations at our on-site summer camp kitchens. You will manage prep, production, staff training, and allergen safety for a fast-paced, high-volume service.

This seasonal, live-in role runs May through Sept at rural camp facilities across the United States. Competitive pay, a performance bonus, and full room and board are provided to support a dedicated culinary leader.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date (company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, scratch baking, able to navigate I-Pad, versatile with ingredients, and sharp problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and lead kitchen staff; maintain high-energy, positive environment.
• Ensure scratch cooking execution, portion control, menu specs, and timely meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and health department sanitation standards.
• Handle inventory management and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen staff, campers, and camp leadership.
