Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager/Baker for a seasonal, on-site role at rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will lead kitchen operations, manage prep and production for day parts, supervise staff, and enforce strict allergen safety and sanitation.

This live-in position requires readiness to work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week, with competitive pay, bonuses, and full room & board provided for the contract duration (May–Sept).

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day part; ensure timely meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan) and sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory management and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen and campers/camp leadership.
