Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a fast-paced summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, supervise staff, and enforce strict allergen safety protocols in a high-volume kitchen.

This on-site, live-in position requires readiness to work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week and live in rustic camp settings, with full room and board provided for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, scratch baking, can navigate an I-Pad, versatile with ingredients, sharp problem-solving abilities.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, work in hot/cold kitchen settings, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic setting and commit to a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.
