Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. in a rural US summer camp setting is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Manager for a seasonal contract (May–Sept). You will lead daily culinary operations, supervise staff, manage budgets, and enforce allergen safety in a high-volume, on-site kitchen.

The role is live-in and requires a minimum 6-day, 70-hour week with room and board provided. Competitive pay, bonus eligibility, and travel allowances are offered to support energetic camp communities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification; Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, budgeting capability, and sharp problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee culinary quality, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking execution.
• Manage allergen safety compliance and health department standards.
• Handle inventory, orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and Wolfoods corporate office.
