Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural summer camp. You will supervise prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and uphold allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

This on-site, live-in position requires a minimum 6-day, 70-hour week and offers competitive seasonal pay, a bonus structure, and free room & board. You’ll support operational excellence while serving campers with quality, scratch-cooked

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, cooking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic camp setting and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff across designated day parts.
• Oversee prep, production, portion control, and scratch cooking execution.
• Allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards must be strictly followed.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
