Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to oversee all prep and production for a busy summer camp operation. This on-site, live-in role demands leadership, menu execution, allergen safety, and strong communication with campers and camp leadership.

You will manage kitchen staff, enforce food safety standards, and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week while enjoying room and board provided for the contract period. Join a dynamic camp team across rustic settings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day part and manage inventory.
• Ensure allergen safety protocols and maintain sanitation standards.
• Manage daily reporting and budget support.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
