Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a fast-paced summer camp. You will oversee prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety and compliance in a high-volume environment.

This on-site, live-in position provides opportunities to lead a dynamic team across rustic camp settings, with a demanding 6-day/70-hour week and competitive seasonal pay plus bonus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, cooking skills, ability to navigate iPad, ingredient versatility, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff to maintain high energy and quality.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking.
• Strict allergen and safety compliance, sanitation standards, and health department requirements.
• Assist with inventory, reporting, and budget administration.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
