Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead on-site operations at our rustic summer camp facilities. You will supervise all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and uphold allergen safety protocols in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

This seasonal, live-in role requires a minimum 6-day, 70-hour work week, travel allowance, and provided room and board. Competitive pay, growth opportunities, and a supportive team await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, cooking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and live on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day part; manage staff and meal service.
• Ensure allergen safety and sanitation standards are maintained.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
