Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead prep and production for day parts at a rustic on-site summer camp. You will oversee staff, ensure allergen safety, and maintain high sanitation and quality standards in a fast-paced setting.

This live-on-site role requires flexibility to work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week and manage inventory, reporting, and guest relations across multiple camp locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking execution, and timely meal service.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as a liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
