Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities across the US. This on-site, live-in position requires managing all prep and production for a designated day part, supervising staff, and ensuring allergen safety.

You will lead kitchen operations in a fast-paced, high-volume camp environment, with a minimum 6-day/70-hour week and opportunities for bonus and room & board.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, cooking, iPad navigation, versatile with ingredients, and allergen identification.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in hot/cold kitchen settings, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to live on-site in a rustic setting, work a demanding minimum 6-day/70-hour week.

• Operations & Leadership: Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Culinary & Quality Excellence: Operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking execution, and timely meal service.
• Allergen & Safety Compliance: Strictly manage food allergy protocols and sanitation standards.
• Administration & Budget: Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Client Relations: Serve as a liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
