Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced, high-energy Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp program. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety.

This on-site, live-in position requires a 6-day, 70-hour week, with competitive pay, bonus, and full room and board. You will coordinate with campers and camp leadership, uphold health standards, and maintain inventory and daily reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, cooking, ability to navigate I-Pad, versatile ingredients, identify Big 9 Allergens, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day part; ensure timely meal service.
• Strictly manage allergen safety protocols and maintain sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
