Job summary

The Freeman Company—Las Vegas, NV—seeks a Manager of Business Operations to oversee regional activities, drive efficiency, profitability and service delivery to Freeman standards. The role supports the AV Production team and adapts to a hybrid schedule with in-office and show-site work 2–3 days weekly.

The ideal candidate has leadership, event-industry experience, and strong operations focus, including budget oversight and safety compliance. Travel 25–50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum 7 years of related experience.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Minimum 3 years in the event industry.
• Familiar with company policies, OSHA requirements, and employment law.
• Experience with sales support and selling practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, sales, operations and project managers to plan events within budget.
• Represent Freeman to facilities, unions, vendors, and Freeman Expo staff regionally.
• Track production activities and deliver progress reports; optimize resources.
• Enforce company policies and procedures across the region.
• Oversee hiring, staffing, discipline and training for the region.
• Oversee budget / bid reviews and assist with final invoicing.
• Visit and audit events to ensure production, safety and service standards.
• Promote teamwork among personnel and stakeholders.
• Update facility profiles and ensure region data is current.
• Assist with site surveys and proper event planning.
