Job summary

Encore seeks an on-site AV Technician to set up, operate, and break down basic equipment for events in a hospitality setting. You will meet client needs, ensure equipment works correctly, and maintain strong client relationships throughout events.

The role requires basic AV knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift and move equipment. Training and compliance with Encore standards are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent preferred.
• A valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment as listed in the job description.
• Exceed client expectations and maintain positive relationships on site.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Process orders and paperwork; interact with vendors as needed.
• Utilize floor up-selling techniques to increase revenue.
