Job summary

Encore seeks an on-site Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in hospitality environments. You will ensure events run smoothly, engage with guests on-site, and troubleshoot equipment as needed, reporting to operations leadership.

The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, accurate paperwork, and coordination with hotel staff and vendors. A valid driving license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless events.
• Exceeds expectations of internal and external customers and maintains positive client relationships.
• Troubleshoots basic equipment and software issues and communicates effectively with clients and staff.
• Completes system entry and paperwork, uses equipment sheets, and coordinates with vendors as needed.
• Collaborates with clients to finalize invoices and supports revenue opportunities with floor up-selling.
