Job summary

Encore is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Nashville to oversee floor operations, lead a technical team, and ensure superb customer service during events. The role includes coordinating with management, training staff, and maintaining AV equipment and safety standards on site.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years in customer service or hospitality, plus 3-5 years of AV experience. This is a full-time, on-site position at a hotel/convention setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of audio-visual experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily floor operations to ensure timely setup, refresh, and removal of equipment.
• Direct workflow of technicians and propose operational efficiencies to venue management.
• Ensure flowsheets are updated and communications are coordinated for events and with Encore teams.
• Train technicians on floor activities and Encore service and operational standards.
• Oversee setup, operation and breakdown of AV equipment; troubleshoot issues and maintain safety standards.
