Job summary

Encore, a hospitality AV provider, seeks a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel environment in Grapevine, TX. You will ensure smooth events, assist guests on site, and work with the Events team to meet client needs and verify equipment performance.

The role requires a high school diploma (associate’s preferred) and customer service or AV experience; lift 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; training/certifications completed within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Must meet training/certifications within 60 days of start date.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of AV experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; DOT requirements may apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment as listed.
• Exceed customer expectations and maintain positive client relationships on site.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Enter orders and coordinate with staff and vendors using Navigator.
• Assist with invoicing and up-selling to increase revenue.
